Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and CARTHACKER LLC, Registration Number 0008117506, a limited liability company organized under the laws of New Mexico, USA ("CartHacker", "we", "us"), governing your use of carthacker.com, its content, tools, and Premium subscription (together, the "Service"). By accessing the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

1. Who Can Use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts.
The Service is a professional resource intended for business use by e-commerce operators, developers, and consultants.

2. Free Content and Intellectual Property

All articles, guides, benchmarks, graphics, and site code are the intellectual property of CARTHACKER LLC unless stated otherwise.
You may read, link to, and quote our free content with attribution and a link to the source.
You may not republish full articles, mirror the site, or present our material as your own work, commercially or otherwise.

3. Code Snippet License

Code snippets published on the Service (PHP, JavaScript, CSS, Liquid, configuration files) are licensed to you for use on stores and projects you own or operate, including client projects you are directly contracted for. You may modify them freely for that purpose. You may not package, resell, or redistribute our snippets or micro-tools as standalone products, plugins, themes, or paid services.

4. Premium Subscription

Billing: Premium is a recurring subscription sold through Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, at the price displayed at checkout, plus applicable taxes. Paddle processes the payment, charges the applicable sales tax or VAT and issues your receipt.
Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled.
Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
Price changes: we may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period.
One account, one operator: Premium accounts are personal. Sharing credentials is prohibited (see Section 7).

5. Refund Policy

Every CartHacker Premium payment can be refunded in full within 14 days of the day it was charged, for any reason, even after you have started using Premium. That holds for the first payment and for every renewal, monthly or annual.

How to ask: write to reveal protected email from the email address on your CartHacker account. Nothing has to be returned or deleted first.
Who refunds it: Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, returns the full amount, tax included, to the card or account you paid with. How soon it shows on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
What happens to Premium: the refunded subscription is canceled and Premium ends on the day of the refund. Your free CartHacker account stays open, with the free plan's limits.
After 14 days: a payment is final, except where the law of your country requires a refund. Cancel at any time from Settings, Billing to stop the next renewal; Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
Charged by mistake: a duplicate charge or a billing error is refunded whenever you report it to reveal protected email, inside or outside the 14 days.
EU and UK consumers: this policy gives you at least the 14-day right of withdrawal that EU and UK consumer law sets for online purchases, and it applies even though Premium starts working the moment you pay. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Read this section carefully. It defines the risk allocation of this agreement.

All content, code, tools, and recommendations are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
You implement our code modifications (PHP, JavaScript, CSS, server configuration) on your own WooCommerce, Shopify, or other store infrastructure entirely at your own risk. Test in a staging environment before deploying to production. Maintain backups.
CARTHACKER LLC accepts no liability for store downtime, checkout interruptions, lost sales or revenue, data loss, SEO ranking changes, third-party integration failures, or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or implementation of our materials.
Trust badges are your statements. Trust Seals & Badges displays claims you choose about your own store, such as free shipping, a returns window or a warranty. You are solely responsible for their truth and for complying with the consumer protection law of every market you sell to, including the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive. We provide the artwork and the software, not the promises.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or 50 USD if you paid nothing.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for willful misconduct.

7. Fair Use and Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

Scrape or harvest the Service with bots, crawlers, or automated scripts, or bypass our rate limiting and security systems.
Resell or rebrand our solutions, micro-tools, code, or content as your own product or service.
Share Premium accounts - credentials are for one named operator. Team access requires separate seats.
Circumvent the paywall, tamper with client-side scripts to bypass access controls, or probe our infrastructure for vulnerabilities outside a coordinated disclosure.
Use the Service to develop a directly competing content product by systematic reproduction of our material.

Violation of this section is grounds for immediate termination without refund, and we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies.

8. Third-Party Platforms

Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, and all other platform names are trademarks of their respective owners. CartHacker is an independent publication and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies. Platform behavior can change without notice; verify our guidance against current platform documentation before deploying.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. Undisputed, paid-up subscription periods remain accessible until their end date except in cases of fraud or Section 7 violations.
Sections 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, and 11 survive termination.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CARTHACKER LLC, its officers and contractors, from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your deployment of our materials on third-party stores, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting reveal protected email. If unresolved within 60 days, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Mexico.
Mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected where they cannot be contractually waived.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
